• Fullerene Radical Sponge 1% is a sponge molecule. The special molecular structure of fullerenes neutralizes free radicals, thereby protecting the skin from temporary changes and damage, i.e. fullerene has unparalleled antioxidant and rejuvenating properties. The discovery of fullerenes was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1996. • α-arbutin is a stable form of the well-known hydroquinone that is safe even for sensitive skin. Arbutin has been approved by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. It inhibits the production of melanin, which causes spots and pigmentation. Arbutin inhibits the activity of the tyrosinase enzyme, which produces melanin, and gives an excellent whitening effect.
